Attacking from Non-adjacent hexes
My brother and I discovered a glitch in 1.3.4, where after everyone has moved at least one hex (not counting new recruits), you would then press spacebar and scroll down/up/left/right and select your target to attack without being adjacent. Everything acts normally, xp, damage, defense, except for attacking without be next to the defender
And by the way, don't underestimate the importance of this glitch. My brother defeated a general with this glitch, and discovered something important: You cannot attack a unit who is blocked by z.o.c.

Confirmed in 1.3.6 as well.

Even though it's fixed, is there any way to exploit this bug through WML? I might have a use for something like thisAlink wrote:Indeed, fixed on the svn trunk (and so in the future 1.3.7)
Thanks for the report jgp93

Hi,
I just found a similar reproducable bug. If a unit encounters an enemy during movement and stops (in that state where you could push t to continue) just leftclick on any enemy unit on the battlefield you can see, just dont hit t. Im running wesnoth 1.3.6 windows binary so this is maybe fixed in 1.3.7 already...
To reproduce
1. Encounter new enemy, dont hit t
2. Leftclick any enemy unit you see
3. Attack

Oh, gotta try these to beat Showdown (last NR scenario) in 1.3.6.
Anybody would keep a reverse patch for download so that I can use this in later versions?
I shall keep one for my personal amusement once 1.3.7 is released, btw.
Disclaimer: I'm just kidding, although it'd make an interesting glitch in the future.

Indeed, also fixed in svn-trunk (it was the same bug), but i will add more checking, since you keep finding new cheat-bugsbin-doph wrote: I just found a similar reproducable bug.
