I've been having the same problem. When I first tried Wesnoth 0.9.2, it came up with a message saying it 'didn't recognize the closing tags' on the previously installed campaigns. When I moved them out of the wesnoth folder (Library/Preferences/Weesnoth/Data/Campaigns) the game opened normally. Then, after I quit, I was unable to reopen it. When I try, the screen goes dark, as if the game is starting, and then it just returns to the desktop.

I haven't played Wesnoth since 8.8 came out, but I just dl'ed 9.2, and when I double-click on it, nothing happens. It appears in the dock than dissapears. It doesn't even make the screen turn dark or turn the mouse into the spinning beach ball.
I'm running 10.3.7, 500Mhz G3, and am on a different computer than the one that I had Wesnoth 8.8 on.

I saw this morning a mail about the port of ardour to MacOs and they have trouble with the different versions of MacOs X. I think it may/must be related.
The problem seems to be that the path to the dynamic library is contained in the program at compile time and Apple has changed the place of some libs between the minor versions.
The only way they found as today is to provide a binary for each minor version

Re: Mac problem
Which version of Mac OS X are you running (see About This Mac), and in Terminal, what does 'ls -l /usr/lib/libstdc++.*' give you as output? It would be useful to know if for instance you have a libstdc++.5.dylib, since we may then be able to create a build linked statically against libstdc++.a which should work on your machine.Hger wrote:This is what I get when launching this app (0.9.2)

No level 2 Dwarf Fighters in "Lost General"?
I have a more specific issue with 0.9.2 for the Mac. I got to the "Lost General" scenario of HTTT, and discovered that the Dwarf Fighters in this scenario don't look to be able to advance to Level 2. This is not the case on Linux--I'm even using the same scenario files on both my Mac and Linux box.
