stange bug in player movement
I've noticed on my gentoo install of 0.8.10 that sometimes a character will move into a square already containing another character. The result of this is lost characters!!
I've only seen this on computer movements but I hesitate to try destroying my own characters.
My install shouldn't have the -fomit-frame-pointer or the stack smashing problem.
Anyone else having this problem?

It is also reported on bugs.wesnoth.org (https://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/index. ... m_id=11550) which is the best place to get your bugs noticed.
Detail I've noticed:
I've been trying to use AI vs AI battles to guage strength of a new faction I want to make up, and have noticed this bug occurring quite frequently.
It may be a coincidence but it seems to only happen when the 'bad hex' is next to an enemy and they are repeatedly attacking that enemy.
