[realism nitpick]

There's no way that the recurve on a bow would be thicker than the limbs of a bow, let alone that thick. They're monstrous. And I'm not sure if the bow would when it's carried around, but I guess it's more recognizable when strung, so that stays.

In single player, the abilities for the Lavinians exist. In multiplayer (Human vs. AI mode), they do not.

Indeed. I would like to register a complaint that Goblin Spearmen are overpowered against Horsemen. Compare (multiplying the Spearman's stats by 23/8 (cost ratio of Horseman/Spearman in 1.1.7) Goblin Spearman 11-3 (or 14-3 with strong!) Melee 9-1 Ranged 52 HP 18 XP to level Horseman: 9-2 Charge Mele...

I got this when I was playing against the AI in multiplayer. In the campaign Fall of Silvium though, the abilities load correctly. I don't know what accounts for the discrepancy. (I started the campaign anew, just to see if they would load correctly from the start.)

Yep, using 1.1.7. Even re-downloaded if from the website just to make sure. Fired it up again, and...the Lavinians still lack abilities. Very, very weird.

In the balanced era, the Lavinian Decurion and Centurion seem to have lost the leadership ability. [edit] And for that matter, I don't see a formation ability on the Propugnator/Praetorian line, nor illumination on the Signifier/Aquilifier line. What gives? And the Field Ballista uses melee/range at...

Sometimes one advancement choice is meant to be a better choice in the majority of cases, with the other choice being better in only a few cases. To be honest though, there's only one combination I'd ever use for a Lancer: strong resilient. Anything less is just too weak. And, even the strong resil...

Lancer advancements

I get the feeling that this will either be shot down because it's already proposed or because it's a proposal for Level 3 units which would rarely be used (only in campaigns)...but here it goes anyway. I'd really like to see either one of two (or both?) advancements for the Lancer. I think EP may ha...

Okay that's probably a bad idea. Here's another one: Make Steadfast(or something like it) a trait rather than a unit specialty. (Of course that's probably a bad idea too, but I'll post it anyway in hopes it will end up being a good one...) It is. And bad ideas don't become good because they're out ...

I like the idea of the "Morally Flexible" trait (human racial trait—unit turns neutral when wrong t.o.d.), but I think something like "Nocturnal" would be a better name for it. I think since it would only give a 25% bonus (effectively) during 1/3 of the day, it's not too u...

Alright, since most of you seem to believe that what I'm proposing is already there, and I can't really see it. Can someone explain to me what each faction's theme is? Elves: Good ranged, well balanced, good-to-excellent defense dependent on the terrain, fair number of special attacks/abilities (wh...

Specops: You apparently don't understand my logic. The extra hp may actually change the amount of damage he receives by altering the decision making process of your opponent. Of course, I was looking at this from a MP standpoint and not a SP standpoint where computers make the decisions...from a SP...

Chris: Resiliant matters on all units. Sometimes battle decisions are based on how many strikes it will take to kill a unit, or CTK. These numbers change with different hp levels. Resiliant is pretty much a factor on all units. Right, I think what he's saying is this: Imagine you have a traitless S...

I think that the Aragwaith actually have too low HP—they are incredibly hard to keep alive. I realize that that's the point of the faction—but I'd reccommend increasing their HP by about 3 points each. It's also sort of weird that a strong Archer is better with its knife attack than it...
