My replays never work

i played a very fun game (alone against 3 random enemies, NOT on isars cross)
although i made a huge amount of mistakes it was fun and i wanted to save the replay
i never used the undo function (well one time when i attacked with a wrong unit i aborted at the battle menu but that was everything i remember doing wrong)
but the replay just doesn't work
what am i doing wrong? i just wanted to post a funny replay with northeners against the AI...

ah and my game version is 1.5.4 (but with 1.5.3 it also never worked :-/ )

Looks like the AI is doing moves with identical source and destination which breaks replays. I've allowed them in replays now so you can watch those replays again.

You can try replacing the 1.5.4 binary with this one to watch your replays. It's from current svn though so it may expect some updated data in which case you have to wait for the next release. Another possibility is of course to find those bogus moves and remove them from the replay.

but unfortunately it didn't work
i'll try now to reinstall but i fear it won't help
and removing moves from play - if i find them - wouldn't it cause more problems?
(well i'll do my best and maybe there is a small chance but...)

Well, the move doesn't do anything, so removing it won't do anything either.
