I can't get on the site in firefox.
It tries to lod something from google and firefox freezes. this includes any additional windows.

Huh, I've yet to have a problem using Firefox on this website. I had a look at what gets passed over the 'net using Firebug, and indeed, there are a few things that get downloaded from google. For this reply page there are 2 items: a 1x1 gif image and a javascript file called urchin.js. You can find out what it does here:

Maybe your Firefox install is hosed. Might be a good time to uninstall Firefox and install the latest version in a clean install. Make sure you wipe out everything that is Firefox related (although you could export your bookmarks first if you have a lot of them)
