Lol, I've never heard it myself, but I have heard of that LotR Rip-off for human males. Some funny /silly's from the Dwarf Male:

"I don't have a drinking problem! I drink, I get drunk, I fall down. No problem!"

"I don't drink any more. 'Course I don't drink any less either."

"I'm just a social drinker! Whenever someone says "I think I'll have a drink," I say, "So Shall I!.""

"*crunch* Oh, I'm having a wardrobe malfunction! *sproioioing* Ooooooh, there's me 'ammer."

"I like my beer like I like my women. Stout, and bitter."

EDIT: Oh, the Ogres in Warcraft 3 still do the argueing. Like these quotes:

"*burp* He did it!"
"No, he did it!"

"That way!"
"No, that way!"

And of course...

"*farts*. *laughter*

Shouldn't this thread be in off-topic?

And, for the record, I'm anti-Starcraft, anti-WoW and anti-Bnet, but not anti-Warcraft. :P

See if you don't like Globulation 2. It's not like most RTSs.

Heh... That was indeed a different RTS, but it still has the stress factor I don't like...

try homeworld or ground control. good graphics, doesn't need a super computer,, no rescources (in GC anyway) or base building(shipbuilding in HW) best battle scenes ever, and lus homeworld is in space and is 100% 3-d. your units go up and down and stuff. and you fight inside a neubla. and a supernova. none of that black backround with stars stuff in HW!
(if you don't like them I'll have to kill you so you may be better off not playing them. but its not possible not to like them anyway. but if it does happen lie and say you like them. )
Oh no look out its a ray gun.
You should move to avoid the rays
the rays are coming out of the gun
if you are hit by the rays
you will be shot by the rays
the rays are fast so you should be fast to
can you win against the fast rays from the gun?

Do you know any place to download Ground Control that isn't Fileplanet?

no execpt for sierra's site maybe. or massives. did you mean the full game or the demo?
I bought the game at best buy for 10$ a few years ago so the chances of you finding the game are low unless you use ebay or something which would still leave the chances pretty low.

you may be able to find the sequel though, but from what ive heard the origional is far better.

The full game, the original. It's released for free on fileplanet with the sequel's demo, in fact it has been open-sourced. However, I'm not willing to go through the hassle to get it off fileplanet.

I would also be interested if there was anywhere I could get the demo.

Thanks, but I doubt I would like them anyway. You see, what I don't like about Real-time strategy is the fact that they are real-time. You have to stress all the time and never get a moment to enjoy the new units you just upgraded, or watch the graphics.

Hmm... perhaps I would like an RTS with a Black Isle style pause-system...

You mean where you can pause and look the place over and even give orders, then unpause?

Yeah, I liked that. First saw it in Ogre Battle.

in HW you can pause the action and the look around if you get overwhelmed, I don't think you can give orders but I haven't tried. but anyway these two games do not have the stress factor your talking about simply becuase of the way they are designed.

EP I don't get what you mean by not wanting to use fileplanet because of the hassle. all you need is a gamespy I.D. which is free and the chances that the public server for that specific thing will be full are pretty low.
that game has awesome music and sound effects I should add. and graphics. greatest. batlle scenes. ever. outside of HW anyway.

I remember I got that, and then it said I needed to have something else or something. I don't remember too well but I gave up at that point; I don't like their privacy policy anyway, etc, etc.
