Dailin I have one thing the scenario objectives popup thing from when you hit the little drop menu thing while playing the game in order for me to see it I have to hold my finger where the scenario objects button. Originally all you had to do is tap the button and it would stay up until you tap somewhere on the screen. Only thing I have found wrong since I've downloaded the update. Did you do this or is this just a little bug?

With the random map settings, there is no way to get out of it.
Edit: iPod touch 4the gen.

Dailin does adding campaigns to the game make the campaign list take forever to load up? It takes more than a minute to load up :/ on my phone

First off, thank you so much Dailin! I've had the old version of BfW on my iPod for years, but it's been getting old. I just bought the newer version and I love it! A couple pointers though: The map interface Kyle had was amazing. I would hope that you could change back to it. I much prefer that one click opens the map to full screen and the second moves to that point on the map. Secondly, I much preferred his unit description interface.

The map on the list, but he didn't "change" it. He did this from scratch. I think the performance issue is before the map thing, not sure.Draperion wrote:First off, thank you so much Dailin! I hadn't thought about the unit description thing, good point. I'm sure he'll add it to the list.

Legend of the invincibles and 3 others and yes I have all other apps closed and I have turned it off to reset the memory and it still takes forever to load up

Couple more things Dailin. First, can you make it so that you can once again scroll through menus? When you try now, it just clicks where you started the scroll. Also, would there be a more accessible layout for the add-on repository? It's kind of a pain to scroll through. Lastly, To The Unknown: Images from the add-on crashes the app when you try to download it. Not sure if the problem is on your end or the add-on maker's

So... It's very cool that someone made an up-to-date BfW for iOS, but I'm little disappointed why is it paid. This game worth those 3.6€, but I don't think many people will buy something what is free on other platforms. And if it would be free for iDevices too, then it would get really popular in AppStore, what means that would get even more fans than it have now. Imo more fans are worth some cash, especially bcoz it means more UMC.

The reason it is not free, and why me and many others don't mind paying is that Dailin ported it all by himself. He has poured months into this project and has committed to staying around and keep it up to date.
Between the amount of work do to what he has, and the promise of future updates, especially when the last port got abandoned, I think the price is extremely reasonable. you'll find a lot of games with a lot less work and heart put into them by the publisher that are as much if not more.
I'm sure that if it was free it would end up hitting the top games listings, but I think supporting Dailin and keeping him around is worth more than being listed as even the #1 game in the app store.

I disagree. This is an opensource game...meaning that on all platforms it should be free. The person taking the task knew in advance that wesnoth was opensoure. Nothing more than a money grab imho. sorry to disagree.
