Just orcs increase it as well? That is weird, my campaign uses absolutely regular orcs.

It is weird that Efraim uses so much CPU even if he's only on the screen, logically he should use it only if you scroll so that he gets on your screen. I had small increses in CPU usage when I scrolled over one of these units (but they happened also with other units), but it never jumped to 100% and decreased when I just left it looking at the leader.

And very good that you noticed that this is caused by him only if he is the primary leader, leader the game scrolls to when the turn begins. For me, the two leaders caused approximately the same CPU jumps.

It wasn't just orcs. In an earlier scenario it was drakes. In that scenario the allies were also normal speed but the enemy very slow. I don't think this a graphics issue but a decision tree (?) issue somehow

The drakes were absolutely normal as well. So it might be a bug in the engine. I will report it if nobody has any more ideas.

Nick, I have an idea. I am not perfectly sure if the method of this workaround can work, but I suspect that it might. Because I remember that in some cases, the only leader you had wasn't the primary leader, so the game did not scroll to her. Can you please check out if the lag happens also in chapter 6, if you choose Lethalia as leader, if the graphical lag appears there (Efraim used to cause lag there, as you said), or parts of chapter 4 where Lethalia wasn't there (and she was causing the lag)? I might try then to make the game consider as the primary leader a unit that is never present. Will not scroll to your leader, will not lag.
