Era of Magic 0.15.0 is now available!

This release features an id reference fix, some balancing changes, and a Polish translation update.

- Translation
    * Updated translations: Polish

- Eras
    * Guarded the Default + Khalifate + Magic era with #ifdef WESNOTH_VERSION, thus preventing it from
      being used in 1.8

- Units
    * Black Mage advances to Mage of Darkness (fixed wrong id error)
    * Removed 'evasion' from Tharis Commander's line
    * Removed resistance bonuses from Troll Warbanner's leadership ability
    * +2 for ranged damage of Sorcerer and Warmage
    * Added +10% of defense of Mage of Air and Master of Air
    * Mage of Water: added 'heals +8' and 'cures' ability
    * Efreeti: +1 to ranged attack
    * Kharos Warbanner and Warbanner: added leadership ability

Well, first, apparently the changes I did when I posted the last time here are not included (and they are enough that I do not want to write them into the new po again). However, concerning the game itself: Why does the MYstic have regenerates, but the Chosen of Forests does not?
After far too long an absence, I have returned.
According to the quiz 100% Silver Mage (85% Archmage, 75% Shyde, 67% Flameheart and Ancient Wose,58% Assassin, Troll Warrior and Berserker). And my top score is exactly how I see myself.

Oh, sorry about that. I tend to forget about things in the fora; it's best that translation updates be PMed to me

Umm... There are those DBA descriptions I wrote a while back. Should I re-post them?
I'm not really around any more, but you can find me in TvTropes.

Updated russian translation.
And a question. There is a problem with "Mage of Water (and other elements)" and "Subversive Mage": it doesn't seem to be translated, though it is in my .mo&.po. Maybe the problem is that in my files they are written: "Mage of water", "Subversive mage". So the second part is starting from small letter, while in game it's capital?

Tested new balance a bit , so I'll write my thoughts.

First spoiler is about types of attack.
In a first entry types of attack of major units of faction
Spoiler:
In addition to weaknesses listed, all light infantry (e.g. white warriors, dark hunters) have weakness to physical damage.
As an result, not all types of attack are equally good, pierce is the least usefull, impact and arcane the most.

Also there is an only race where all units have the same weakness (all units of Dark Blood Alliance except salamanders and Toads have impact vulnerability).
Also there is only one race which have only three types of reasonable damage(Kharos).
Most universal race are summoners.

Now about testing.
The "best" race are Dwarves, Summoners hold the second place.

I found that there are some imbalance match-ups (Dwarves happen to be the best for now, I don't list imbalance match-ups with dwarves).
Kharos < Barbarians
DBA < Barbarians
DBA < Sky
DBA < Al-Kamija
DBA < Tharis
Al-Kamija > Tharis

The "best" race are Dwarves, Summoners hold the second place.

Other match-ups looks good, now more info about imbalanced match-ups

So, I suggest:
1)Change Shielder shield damage from 9-1 to 7-2
Change Protectors shield damage from 13-1 to 10-2
2)Give to DBA Wyverns
+10% impact reduction but
-20% pierce reduction
3)Change Wyvern's tackle damage:
Wyvern from 9-2 to 7-3
Great Wyvern from 11-2 to 9-3
Chaos Wyvern from 13-2 to 11-3

OR

Increase Toads Paw from 4-3 to 7-3 (9-3 for Battle Toad)
4)Give Rhami, and Jinn
-10% cold reduction

5)Allow DBA to buy corrupted shamans(lvl2 unit). Like Kharos can buy Sun Followers.
that way DBA would get access to fire damage from start.


And I suppose that's all.


Added 24August:

6)And I suppose DBA wiuld enjoy to have additional arcane 6-3 (8-3, 10-3, 13-3) attack on Shamanistic Adept( Clan Leader, Mystic, CHosen of Forest). This attack is lower than their cold one, but gives them more flexability vs arcane-vulnerable races.

Just a small fluff question: does the world of this add-on have a name (like the world Wesnoth is in is called Irdiya pr something similar)?
I'm not really around any more, but you can find me in TvTropes.

Yeah, why not? If it sounds nice, I will use it, but remember that many nations from EoMa have different languages and cultures, so they can use different words to name the world of Era of Magic.
