computer players don't work right
This happened with several different games in several eras with different units each time when I start a game in 1.9.5 & .6 and then save and quit. Upon loading the saved game directly or going into multiplayer mode and then loading the saved game, if I change any given computer player e.g. Player 6 & 8 (it doesn't matter which computer player, it could as easily be 5, 7, & 8- This is just an example) to human players and play the game everything is fine. But if a human player drops out and has to be reverted back to a computer player, this is when I encounter the problem. Upon saving the game again and quitting, and then re-loading the game either through multiplayer mode or using the load game option and reverting human player 6 & 8 back to computer control and then starting the game up again, I discover that player 6 & 8 I find that computer players 6 & 8 are still under human control. No matter how many times I close out of the game and reset player 6 & 8 to computer control, the computer will not take over those players, and it reads human controlled in the display each time I go back in to switch them back to computer control. It's as if the computer will allow the switch to human control, but not back from human to computer control.

Ingame, you can switch your own side to be AI-controlled by typing in
I know that this doesn't solve your problem, though it may prove useful in the future to save you the time always to save and reload

I tried that. You have to type colon droid every single time to get the computer to move

colon droid leads to corruption of game file when you try it
colon droid leads to corruption of game file when you try it. Anyone know how to allow a human player to take over a computer player in the game?
