Campaigns aren't written in C++, and WML (the scripting language used for writing wesnoth content) has very little to do with Microsoft.
Personally, I would love to see a campaign created by you. :D You've proven that you have a very good idea of what is good to include in a campaign, and what's not, and what are good mechanics that are actually fun to the player.

@Inferno8: Woah. I might have to play this campaign over again, after all the great improvements that have happened since the first version. :D

I'm saying I don't really have the time right now. Happy to contribute concepts, dialogue, and possibly a little code to inferno8's next campaign though. I doubt there's much more to do in this one. Couple of play balance tweaks maybe.

Well, you don't need to know anything about C++ to code WML. I never even realised wesnoth was a C++ until I read the about section on the wiki.
And as for disliking Microsoft....... I loath Microsoft with a passion. But remember : wesnoth is an open source project. Open source is like the rebellion in start wars. Think of Bill Gates as Darth Vader.

OT: is Bill Gates your father? :P

im finding the campaign really interesting and innovative. sometimes the nonstandard "terrain" makes it look like those old simple 8 bit games, but the art is always on theme and enhances the mood. if you havent received a list of typos i will put one together cuz there are a lot.

AFAIK, no one has submitted a complete list of them, just sporadically mentioned them here and there. And they aren't so much typos; more often grammar mistakes. But it's pretty understandable since English isn't inferno8's first language. (pretty sure...) In fact, Inferno8's English is quite good for someone who speaks it as a secondary language.

Anyways, I bet a complete list of mistakes would be really helpful to inferno8, if someone took the time to create it.

I don't personally find the mistakes objectionable. I see them as authentication that inferno8 wrote it. :-) How would game cults have in-jokes if they corrected all the mistakes?

That's a... curious... way to look at it. But I don't see why you would ever want to leave in mistakes that you know are there.

Or was that post sarcastic, and I completely missed it because TIHTJOTI? :hmm: :P

No I'm dead serious. The marketing value of All Your Base Are Belong To Us is legion. Grammatical correctness is not the only goal of writing, and one should decide on one's goals. This is obvious to a screenwriter, who may write dialogue in a regional accent or with mistakes in order to achieve a particular character effect, but it also applies to the overall perception of the product. inferno8's mistakes make his product "authentically Polish." I've even seen him put back mistakes in dialogue redrafts where I've taken them out.

This is my gold reducing script. I'm going to disable it.

Is this a... compliment? If yes, this is the weirdest one I have ever heard ;p

That would be great!

For some reason I can't install 1.4 version of TLU. Games just freezes at 0% and no matter how long I wait (nearly hour) it doesn't respond. I had no such difficulties with previous version.

Let me guess, you are running Wesnoth 1.9.2? I've had a great deal of difficulty adding-on TLU on that version, and sometimes I've been unable to do it at all. Lately I've just been playing on Wesnoth 1.8.5.
