Problem with downloading Add-ons!
I seem to have a weird problem with downloading add-ons.
The problem exist only if I download big wheight add-ons (100 kbytes and beyond) - the problem is, it usualy stops around 70-100 and gives a messege "Remote host disconnected" and then it won't connect to the add-ons server / main wesnoth multiplayer server for several minutes / hours. It happend around 5 times, never happend with small downloads, seem to always be with big add-ons!

Okay, major revival, but on IRC, these two users left the room, and Gambit mentioned that when they leave, it means that the servers go down. So sometimes it doesn't work. But you can go to the add-ons website and download them and install them manually.

The add-ons website is served from the same physical host as those connections, so it won't help if Wesnoth.org is down.

i have had the same problem for more than at least a few years. i guess there is something wrong in the wesnoth client code because i can download the same files with web brouser without any problem (in case download stops saying "Remote host disconnected").
