Multiplayer games

so i installed wesnoth 2 days ago and got back into it, meaning i had played it before but then got a new computer and no cd, and i thought it wouldn't be so bad to play against real people, but when ever i try it tells me i got version 1.5.9 and i need 1.5.14 or something like tht, im not sure by the last two numbers. so any suggestions?

It's probably that the changes between 1.5.9 and 1.5.14 & 1.6 are too important to play multiplayer matchs on the MP server. The versions are not compatible.
You should install the last version of Wesnoth : 1.6

Sorry to bother again, and to double post, but i do not know how to update to 1.6, there is a INSTAL.EXE but when i click it its defect and is not working. Any suggestions?

You may have a corrupted or incomplete download, did you try downloading it again?

this was the third time now, i always have the same problem, i open the INSTAL.EXE and the windows window opens and there is that white line that indicates where u write and its moves in diagonal lines up

Did you download it from here ?
Did you uninstall the previous version before ?
EDIT: Note that the installer should be named wesnoth-1.6a-win32.exe rather than INSTAL.EXE, I think.

Also check the file size, if your downloaded executable is less than 200 MBs, its broken (right click on file -> properties).
