multiplayer bugs...1.1.2

Post by murgatroid »

Mac OS X.3.9

Often when playing on the Wesnoth server, I have many instances where nothing at all appears to be happening for several minutes and I'll ask everyone what's going on. No response. Then, all at once, a whole bunch of things happen, text scrolls by, people say I have been gone, etc. Often the game ends because people think I have been disconnected.

Meanwhile, my internet connection works fine. I can browse the web, etc.

This has happened more times than I can count.

758 MB ram
Port opened on both 14999 and 15000
mac os x.3.9
wesnoth version 1.1.2

Well, that's your connection to the wesnoth server severly lagging not much anyone can do about that.

What do you mean? How would I fix that? If my internet connection is working fine, why would my connection to wesnoth server be faulty?

By anyone I actually meant including you. Make yourself familiar with how the internet works then you can analyze the problem better and maybe figure out what's going wrong. Unlikely that you have the power to fix it still.
