I like the portrait, but he looks a little bit too young for a level 3 unit.

This image would need a loot of work...
IMO the head looks sticked on the clothers :? .

I am not a graphics artist. Someone else created it for The Two Brothers and I just changed the colors. If a graphics artist wants to edit it, download the newest version of Wesnoth or Two Brothers and look at the portrait of Bjarn but it is red not silver.

Mod - Please don't do that with emoticons.

May I ask why you have posted a cheap edit of an existing portrait when we already have a Silver Mage portrait, namely the one developed in this very thread?

I will warn you now that our art developers don't accept blatant image-hacks. Such edits nearly always look bad, that Bjarn hack is a good example.

PS. Smilie overkill is niether funny nor intelligent, just irritating.

I'm surpised no one has said this yet, or maybe I'm just thinknig the staff magic is a stronger light source than it really is.

But the main light source should be the staff crystal/shine and his clothing should have darker shading on the right side. Right now the main light seems to be coming from "our" perspective. At the very least, things should be lightened up near tjhe crystal and darkened a little farther from it.
