Eh, it's not even my opinion that Red Mage is top-tier, so there you go. I will admit that a Goblin Pillager is, though. Show me a replay if you'd like.

:?:
Are there supposed to be other files here, or something, Lunar2? If you took down the file for some reason, you could've at least said something about it when you edited the first post.

Download the file I posted, place its contents into the campaign folder.

Did Lunar take it away because some shop features wont work anymore?

everything that has to do with damage (amount and number of attacks, both melee and ranged)

I changed all shorts to melee and all longs to ranged in the scenario.cfg, but the shop file doesnt seem to be accessible. Its still not working, guess the shop file holds the problem?

There is a simple way to fix the shops :
In the Scenario, replace all the occurences of range=short with range=melee and range=long with range=ranged.
There is probably 1 or 2 units to remove in the Era like the Chocobone that is now a campaign-specific unit.

Thx for the reply Noyga. I did it, but it's still not working. The inaccessible file i meant is named ".DS_Store". It's a binary and i have no clue what it is for.

Well you need only 2 files :
- DotW_era.cfg : the DOtW era
- DotW_scenario.cfg : The scenario itself.
Just ignore the .DS_Store it's not needed, it's simply MacOS specific information about how the folder should be opened.

Of course you were right. Most units seem to work well now, but the one i picked to test was - the chocobone :P. It seems to be the only one which does not work (can't upgrade melee damage value), mermaid works fine.

Thx for your help :D

edit: Noble Commander did not work too.

Once this scenario is working i post it here. Put all files into "data/campaigns".

im not sure if this is what you wanted if it isnt tell me
you seem to have the ranges for upgrading your melee and ranged attack set to short and long respectivly. I've made a 1.1.1 version that has the ranges being listed as melee and ranged.

btw I was playing a game with the normal scenario settings and I ended up creating a 233 HP 50-6 / 54-5 attack monster. Is this supposed to happen?

THIS IS FOR 1.1.1 USERS ONLY!!!

No.

With an Elvish champion, I am usually able to get a 400 hp, 40-10 attack monster...

Sea Elf i don't get your point, sorry (maybe a language problem). Is Chocobone working in your modified file? You still have it in your era. Same to creep upgrades. They haven't been changed in your source code -> should not work properly.

Eh... I have optimized it for version 1.1.1 (Sea Elfs one had problem with the era, and the Troth's file have trouble with melee/ranged). I still want to make different maps and change the halberdier image to one of a wose. It'd be great if some great map maker could come and make a new and bigger map for this scenario.... :)

I dunno Roze did make Creep wars a larger version based even harder on DOTA. He also modded DOTW a bit as did others. Just thought you should know
May the drakes bloody kill you all.
