A suggestion for the snowy human village.

Post by pekka »

Thank you for this great game! I got so excited so I drew couple of hexes too. Here is my little contribution for the project. Use it if you wish.

They look good. I'm using them as [item]s right now. It will be nice to have them as a terrain.

If someone wants to use them as overlays, you need to edit them to be 72x72 (attached fixed versions).

it would be interesting to see how well they blend in with the snow tiles, since that is what they'd be overlaid over, not grass.

Elven villages

Post by pekka »

Here are the elven ones you asked. Now that I see these on another monitor I think the snow might be a little bit too gray. Well, they are free to fix. Perhaps I'll fix them tomorrow..

They look good. Perhaps, on the roof where there is no snow, it should look like it is iced over? That should be doable by reducing the saturation and fiddling with some other stuff...

Yes that's nice.

Pekka, those are wonderful. As the person who made the existing village tiles that you just edited, I must say that you've done as well as I could have hoped to. :)

Thank you for your contribution, and we look forward to anything else you'd like to make - you just saved me a pile of work.

These of course are brilliant.

pekka,

We're always looking for skilled artists to improve Wesnoth's graphics. We can offer you a place on the development team with SVN access if you're interested. Please let me know if you are.
