Against elves? Undead. I was surprised to read this to be honest! At day, the Elves can completely overwhelm an entire Undead army with Mages and Woses, with ofcourse the odd Fighter to take Dark Adepts, nothing that can be done against them to be honest. Undead dont have Fire attacks to counter th...

Really, quick is the best trait available, even though it subtracts some HP. Hey, your unit may be a little easier to kill, yeah, but if you react soon enough before your unit dies off completely, you can just run away and laugh at your attacker if he has at least one MP less than you, what is most...

I disagree. IMO, either can be stronger depending on your needs, similar to ulfserker verses dwarven fighter. This is a very wrong conclusion: 1: Knight and Lancer come from the same unit, the Horseman 2: Knight and Lancer both have a Charge attack, one with 14-2, other 12-3 (correct me if wrong) 3...

Actually. the intelligent trait is useless in most campaigns, as XP are abundant, sometimes even over-abundant as the computer churns units at you like there was no tomorrow. The 20 percent XP don't really matter. Resilient-strong, resilient-quick, or, in the case of trolls, resilient-fearless wins...

I agree with most of what has been said, but Id like to add one more thing. Usually I also recall level 1 units with very usefull traits, i.e. a Spearman, which is Strong/Resilient, or Intelligent/Resilient. Some people may think its a waste of 6gold, but in the long run, a S/R Royal Guard will have...

I exactly know this feeling, if you really need the best way to accept it? Play the campaign: The Eastern Invasion. This is where I learned to accept losing units :P (Lost 2 Iron Maulers (1 holy), 2 Royal Guards (1 holy), 1 Arch Mage, 1 Mage of Light) I tried to do it over and over again and even re...

You guys are looking at this from the wrong perspective (or maybe I do, but mine makes some sense :P) I usually compare Lancers to Knights, as they are both level 2. I think its obvious that Lancers are the stronger of the two, although they cant level further, making them not very viable in campaig...

A RL WoW-addict I know said there was a level 70 cap... so you can't keep advancing endlessly, though pretty close to that. He's right, in a certain way. You can't keep levelling at level 70, but you can keep getting better gear. Keep doing higher instances, keep getting better and better, and it w...

These are 2 different type games, which are almost impossible to compare... However, I've had experience in World of Warcraft for about a year and a half and I think I've been playing Wesnoth for two months now. The first thing I want to say is: WoW takes a LOT of your free time (I have to confess I...
