ok thanks for the responses, i was starting to think i wouldnt get any... i know i wont make the art for this so anything would be welcome, i figured their armor would be darker, heavier, and would make them slower than the other dwarves, and i figured the mages might have some sort of turning into ...

The Dark Dwarves

first i must note that i have no graphics yet for this idea, and do not consider my skill will ever provide for it or even a campaign, but i still would like to proprose it so here: Background: I come to you now with a tale of a the grim and often scorned upon past of our people, and of our glorious...

actually i was thinking the same thing, which would fit well in backing up a place for dark elves to inhabit: the almost unknown expanse of land east of the northern elves forest whose southern borders meets the endlesss expanse of swamp east of wesnoth (eastern invasion campaign)(maybe home to the ...

I think the saurian, if they become a seperate faction, could use some sort of substitution for cavalry...but i cant seem to think of what they would ride.....crocodiles maybe?

they also could be survivers from when the orcs drove the humans from the northlands during the end of Haldric I's reign but i think there needs to be something about how the barbarian men (the marauders) formed in the history...

Origin of the Barbarian Men

i think these would be a good substitute for the northern men who captured the wild steppe (which would be like the mongolian deserts [east of the far north]) from the orcs, and might be a better idea than barbarian men, considering when haldrics people first came to wesnoth they were already fairly...

Wesnoth Begining Cinematic

i know this is a bold idea for the time, but i think we should at least start thinking about one, although we probably wont have any animations for a while (and will be much harder to make knowing that the showing of much blood is out of the quesiton), i figured we could introduce the world of wesno...

the only problem with this is that it will seem to "good" (or different) to fit in, but this style is very warcraft like, and would fit great if this kind of music was adopted for the whole game....
