well, you see, the dark elves always lived in their own dark harmony in the caverns of their small empire. we were thinking about making a long list of six or so campaigns with the dark elves, so maybe that could be the last one. i doubt it though. cause i don't like.

The Dark Elf Fighter images don't work. First of all, they're PSD and not PNG, so I tried to make them PNG and got those in the attachment. However they still don't work, and only one animation is displayed. I'll try to fix that but there is another problem: their background is white rather than transparent. I can't do anything about it due to lack of graphics programs, so somebody should change that.

Also, the images have different sizes. Some are 80 by 80, others 65 by 65. I'm not sure the game will accept sizes more than 72x72.

okay, here is the fixed de-fighter line. they are all 72-72 pixels, and have transparent backgrounds.

wouldn't dark elves have jet black, purple, or pale white skin and generally white or black hair hair?....but i mean your makin your own race so...

but the really comment is a quesiton of does anyone think that spiders should be included as a part of dark elf culture and for a monster creature....

They don't have purple skin because it doesn't look right, and they are supposed to be very similar to elves, except they are chaotic elves who practice the arcane arts.

And I don't think there will be any monsters either, just because I said so

Blame Warcraft for the assumption that chaotic elves should have purple skin... I, personally, agree with your decision to make dark elves relatively "normal".

I'm trying to make them as similar as I resonably can. They are different in many ways, but they have the same basic principles, and they speak the same language. For example, there is the De Captain and De Marshal, same as the Elves have, except with a spear attack instead of a ranged. And then there are the Clerics, who are similar to the Elvish Lord and High Lord. Both have a cold magic attack and have high ranks in society. The Dark Elves focus more on melee then on ranged attacks, since in the caves its hard to see long distances.

The stats aren't that hard to figure out, it's just the artwork. I want them to have the same facial features as the elves, but their clothing is supposed to be way different. It's really hard.

If i remember my warcraft correctly, those who were addict to magic became the high elves.

This isn't Warcraft though, we are thinking of our own ideas. As much as WC3 rocked to me I can't base entire stories around it.

*sigh* this is why I hate long threads. I've answered this question many times already. They don't have dark skin because we don't want them to have dark skin, I'll just leave it at that.
