while on the forum i was looking at the changes to 1.1
i was trying to invisage the updates like the movement and i was hit by a flashback of playing settlers 2?!?
hexagon based game, RTS, graphics simalar quality, some campaigns simalar to settlers. The only major difference was you had to build a city on settlers and you had teretory but its basicaly the same game, looking at earlier versions, this game has surpassed settlers1 a long time ago in depth and complexity.
the v1.1 seems to meet settlers 2 standard on attack animation for the 1st time, lets hope people can meet expectations
or if not ill meet my own, i want to learn how to script campaigns and if u wish to teach, x

Filling the gap is every easy: join the irc-channel #wesnoth-dev on irc.freenode.net. There you can simply ask how you can help. Look for people like boucman. He is the one having a look at the patches and stuff. Just ask in there how you can help.
