Good campaigns?

Post by Lugo Moll »

Does anyone have any recommendations on good user campaigns? I like the ones with lots of role-playing elements and unusual scenarios.Like Saving Elensenfar, for instrance...

Good RPG campaigns are Under the Burning Suns (and although I feel it has weak gameplay, other like it), Liberty, and the Scepter of Fire [/shameless_selfpromotion].

Hmm... Thanks I will try those out. Liberty, however, I have allready tried (and got stuck on, but that's another story).

Ah. You need more hiding and less seeking. There's a path that allows you to avoid all enemy contact unless you're on the hard level. Use Harper to scout since he can see farther than your enemies. The unit's movement determines his vision capability.

For The Gray Woods, you really need to throw lots of money at the problem. It's hard to have a lot of high level units at this point.

Is self-promotion allowed? :D If so, I would advise some very nice campaign :)))

EDIT: seemingly nobody is shy from promoting their campaign, so I will advise trying "A New Order". It is half-finished, right now has about 26 scenarios, and it got few quite positive comments.

If you like campaigns with role-playing elements and unusual scenarios, I want to shamelessly plug my own campaign: Under the Burning Suns. If it isn't too difficult, I think you'll enjoy it.

Look at the download numbers. The most popular campaigns are usually the best.
