The Three Sisters Saga (SP campaign for 1.14)
Hi everyone!
This is the reference topic for the single player campaign: The Three Sisters Saga
The campaign was realized for the version 1.14, for windows; stories and dialogues are totally written in my imaginative english, or something similar; not so similar, i fear
The story is set in a personal re-intrepretation of the Three Sister Archipelago, and the main hero is a female descendant of Baldras of the official campaign Liberty.
The campaign is complete and was tested some times, but there is a lot of variation and so ... every feedback about any errors are welcome; you can post it in this topic.
There are nine battle scenario and three dialogue scenario.
There is some semi-new units, some semi-new portrait and some semi-new situation; i's almost a semi-new campaign.
Have Fun!

The hard difficulty looks impossible.
In the first scenario, if the player retreats and defends by the river, the enemy would group up and refuse to initiate attacks. Then the time is not enough.
In the 2nd scenario, the ally just get massacred before the player can go in. And there is just too little money.

speaking seriously, I'll think some change about this thing.
Thanks for your tips
Re: The Three Sisters Saga (SP campaign for 1.14)
Arcyn (Infantry Lieutnant 2nd scenario) lacks his silver crown.
And hard is not supposed to be impossible because of bad computer allies (or impossible objectives). If either of this is true, then you designed the difficulty badly.
Especially since the 2nd scenario on hard is harder than any of the mainline scenarios of the expert campaigns with difficult setting hard. Your campaign is described as 'medium diffculty'. So that does not make any sense.

Released the 3.1.0 version
Some changes in the 2nd scenario should have made it easyer; it's again hard, but not impossible! I tested it, and if I can win a scenario then everybody can win it!
Please continue to report the critical issues of the campaign, thanks.

Re: The Three Sisters Saga (SP campaign for 1.14)
Yes, it's possible now.
'The Vampire Lady'
Arcyns death is listed as lose condition, but you don't lose when he dies.
And you might want to add a few more turns on the hard difficulty because this is reeeeeally close. (On scenario 1 and 4)
'Rumble in the Jungle'
I'm not quite sure if I understand the scenario objectives. Do you really mean e^2?
None of my bats in this scenario are in my recall list.
Gameruths Leadership doesn't work on Missy and Lissy.
Gameruth starts as a level 2 unit and advances to a lvl 2 unit.
'The Red Shores of Boresild'
The Drakes and the Trolls have the same teamcolor.
The wesnoth Humans and the Skeletons have the same teamcolor.
When the Wesnoth leader dies, Arcyn becomes a leader of the drake side, turning this side over to my control.
When the Drake leader dies, Gameruth becomes a leader of the wesnoth side, turning this side over to my control.
When the Merman leader dies, Antaloo becomes the leader of the merman side, but he is green now.
When Baal dies, every single Ogre runs to 3,19 and disappears.
(There are also numerous grammar and spelling errors but...that was too much for me. But please go easy on your use of exclamation marks.)

released the 3.1.1 version with:
Fixed!
I added two more turns in the scenario 4, and I already added two more turn in the scenario 1 with the 3.1.0 versionAnd you might want to add a few more turns on the hard difficulty because this is reeeeeally close. (On scenario 1 and 4)

Well, This was what was supposed to happen, but it didn't happens as it should have to happens; fixedWhen Baal dies, every single Ogre runs to 3,19 and disappears.
What means e^2?
theoretically only Vaniria should be able to recall and recruit the bats; I'll get a look to this thing.
Grammars and spelling errors are caused by google translator and then, what do you have against the exclamation mark?
Re: The Three Sisters Saga (SP campaign for 1.14)
e^2 = 7.3890561
(Just take a look at the scenario objectives in 'Rumble of the Jungle', I'm sure you'll see that the 3rd condition is not clear)
It's as if someone is shouting without any reason. ._.
Re: The Three Sisters Saga (SP campaign for 1.14)
I understand; the part 1 e 2 must be changed with 1 and 2;
Well, the characters are a bit stressed by the situationIt's as if someone is shouting without any reason. ._.
Re: The Three Sisters Saga (SP campaign for 1.14)
One tiny issue: The Infantry lieutnant has this code:
(and similar for the animations) ... but the unit image folder is named "units/Arcyn" (capitalized). This has no problem on case-insensitive file systems (like the default ones on Mac and Windows), but gives an invisible hero on my Linux system.
Renaming the folder to "arcyn" helped.
Code: Select all
image="units/arcyn/infantry-lieutenant.png"
Renaming the folder to "arcyn" helped.

Hi Argesilao, the Three Sisters is one of the reasons I joined the forum, played through a few scenarios and I like both your creativity and sense of humor.
I understand that you are not a native English speaker, If you would like, I can re-write your English dialogue to retain your meaning but in proper syntax, grammar and all that other good stuff.
Have a great day,

I am tragically aware of the inadequacy of my english, so:Konstantine wrote: ↑August 4th, 2018, 8:41 am I understand that you are not a native English speaker, If you would like, I can re-write your English dialogue to retain your meaning but in proper syntax, grammar and all that other good stuff.

Re: The Three Sisters Saga (SP campaign for 1.14)
Hi again, your English may not be perfect, but your humor and creativity are outstanding!
O.K. here is some background information, I'm one of the content writers on a 4x game that should get released in Q4 2018 to Q1 2019, I'm also an editor there and do a lot of the proofreading so I have some experience with this kind of thing.
Can I ask if you have a simple text file available of the dialogue and descriptions for Three sisters? If you do, that would be the easiest as I could offer suggested edits on a copy of the file, you would be able to compare them to the original and decide if you wish to use them.
If you don't have this, I can do it the hard way but it would be more time consuming, either way, I want to help as I really see tremendous potential in the campaign.
Thanks for granting me the opportunity to help out with this
Have a great day

You can find all the main dialogues in the files The_Three_Sisters_saga\utils\dialogues.cfg, but if you give me some days I can to prepare a more friendly and complete text filesKonstantine wrote: ↑August 5th, 2018, 12:50 pm Can I ask if you have a simple text file available of the dialogue and descriptions for Three sisters?
