Unable to find Add-ons subfolder

I suspect this may be the wrong forum - but I'm not sure what the right one is, so my apologies. I'm trying to edit the .cfg of a particular downloaded scenario file, but don't seem able to locate it. As far as Windows search goes it should be under:

C:\...\Program Files (x86)\Battle for Wesnoth\userdata\data\add-ons\....

Yet when I open the Battle for Wesnoth subfolder in program files (x86) I cannot see a "userdata" subfolder. (I also hate the way Windows 8 search doesn't expand the whole filepath and allow me to navigate up, but that's another matter... ) The data folder is the, but it only contain the core campaigns. I've tried checking under View but Hidden files are set to show up.

Any ideas?

Well, I guess you've told the installer to put the userdata in your user directory instead of in the install directory.
