[WTactics] Name cards & Describe the art

Purpose
Again I turn to the powers of the forum to gather it's energies

Criteria
- Names shouldn't be overly long and preferably in English or in some cases Latin.
- Names should somehow connect to what's going on the game/card/mechanics etc. The link doesn't have to be crystal clear, but any link is better than no link.
- Avoid personal names of individuals found in BfW or it's addons: WT isn't necessarily set in a timeline compatible with all of their existences.
- When you suggest artwork for it keep in mind how our templates and artwork looks like for our Event-cards (yellowish ones). Visit the site and have a look first if you haven't already.
- Don't suggest artworks that are overly complex and have very many objects/creatures or super-fine details in them: The less objects, the better. (This is due to the format and size of a card, among other things) Usually we'd only want to show what's needed to make the card unique, easily recognizable and also somehow connected with it's name/mechanics.
- Keep in mind: All art has transparent backgrounds.
- The art has to be set in the universe of Wesnoth, which means it has to be fantasy related and use the species found in Wesnoth, mainly. If it's unthinkable (i.e. a flying Robot with a lasergun) in the Wesnoth universe, it's most likely not interesting for the WT project either.
All names and suggestions which will be used will be properly credit to you on the site to your nickname or real name if you'd wish it. By contributing ideas in here you claim no copyright of them beyond GPL3 and allow the project to use them in any form and shape, modified or however we see fit using the GPL3. Should you leave an idea and choose to stay anonymous that's also fine - same thing goes. If you are uncertain about any of this, please don't contribute.
Eyerouges Example
Eyerouge suggested the card should be called "Bound by Love" and that it should also have some kind of art showing an act of love. For that purpose the end result came to be what can be seen here.Card text of un-named card wrote:Pick any Rebel creature from your deck and put it into play for free. Shuffle the deck. A target ally must be appointed. The ally follows the Rebel creature wherever it is placed during the game, including the grave.
Disclaimer
All texts, cards, wordings etc etc are work copies and bound to change. Please don't discuss wording related issues or mechanics in here. All such things will be discussed and settled in due time, but not in here. If you feel you have a question about rules/mechanics and that it's important for your creativity please PM it to me or contact me via e-mail and I will help you as soon as possible.
Wanted
As usual, developers & artists are still wanted, so if you want to do stuff that goes beyond this and start sweating then mail me already

Updates
If anything gets done at all in this thread I will update with new cards in the below list and also post about it in this thread.
Selections
Whatever I say goes in the end when it comes to what goes in or out of the game, and it will stay that way until there are more involved in the development of it. This means there are no guarantees that your suggestion will become card art or used as a card name.
The cards that need names & art suggested
All of them are related to the Elfs, Merfolk and/or good Humans that have joined them in an alliance. They are all good, cuddly and loving. Please see this for more info or contact me. If anyone should have already suggested name and art, please don't let it hinder your own creativity.

Re: [WTactics] Name cards & Describe the art
I came up with a couple ideas for some of the cards you posted:
Spoiler:
Re: [WTactics] Name cards & Describe the art
# As long as target opponent has more creatures in play than you: Put any number of creatures that cost 3 or less into play for free.
Name: Call To Arms
Art: Some sort of general on a podest reading an letter aloud (to some big crowd, but those don't need to be drawn I guess)
# At the beginning of each player's turn that player loses influence equal to the number of creatures that he/she killed in combat during the previous turn.
Name: Split Tongue
Art: An minister or something, clothed in black and grinning evily
Edit:
Whoops. The 2. did not fit the "good" thingy.
Other idea:
# At the beginning of each player's turn that player loses influence equal to the number of creatures that he/she killed in combat during the previous turn.
Name: Combat fatigue
Art: An farmer who looks very upset.

Like the suggestions for both name & art for Questioned Motives. How would we portray "deep thought"? A person scratching the head? Or his beard maybe?
Spell
Call to arms was a good one. Pretty decent art suggestion as well.

Indomitable. For art, show something like Dulcatos's portrait. So, a heavily armed soldier with arrows and other things sticking out of him and still fighting
# Enchanted creature can not die if it's defending.
Rust. An orc or other creature holding a dripping wet rusty sword, even though everything else is dry
# All creatures using equipment get -1/-1. Their owner may pay 2 gold during his/her upkeep to hinder this effect during that round.

I was thinking of something along the lines of "The Thinker", personally.eyerouge wrote:kraken:
