Comments, please, on some sprites I have attempted

These are some sprites I attempted to make, including a bit of animation. I got the base by frankensteining a couple of the units in the Imperial Era. I may use these in a campaign of my own making, if I actually get around to finishing the campaign. More importantly, I'd like to make some decent sprites.

Please make specific comments as to the problems that you notice. Also, if you know some good techniques to fix things I'd appreciate that as well.

Not bad, in my opinion, but, what is he/she supposed to be?

The spear should contrast more, I suppose.

I can barely see the spear, and the anim fo the attacking... person should be pointing at position 4:00 (Southeast)

Ah, jeez. You're right, of course. No wonder it didn't look right in action.... <makes rude comments about himself, to himself>

LOL. I did the same thing what I started spriting. What will these sprites be, pray tell?

If you're familiar with the Issaelfr and the Marauders from Imperial Era, she's supposed to be a cross between a mistral magus and a fay, the child of an elf and a human.

I'll darken the spear some, when I get around to it. I didn't want to overdo it; it's easier to add more than to take away.
