Something split from [Abilities that have potential---]
Ah, man, way too fried to read all the other posts on this thread -- I just gotta throw these out there:
Ski a.k.a. snowshoe, snow-walk, snow-striding; ignore the penalties of snow-covered terrain. (Perhaps skiing can also allow mountain-based and snow-hill charges against other terrains (downhill)?)
'Asplode goblin grenades ala mtg, these units can be sacrificed to do lots of explosive damage to all six surrounding hexes (and units they contain). Nobody can survive 2.
Command you can recruit/recall to any castle surrounding any keep occupied by your FARTHEST commander with empty castle space (after filling up all of your leader's castle hexes with new units)
Settler wicked expensive (100gp); these piss-poor fighters can be sacrificed to build a new village where they stand. If this is done on an existing village, that village is converted into a castle. Hilariously enough, the settler is something of a pariah, causing the immediate destruction of whoever landed the killing blow, forcing those wishing to slay settlers to recruit expendable pariah units to do the job.
