Wesnoth on jailbroken iPod touch
is this possible? Has anyone tried this?
Re: Wesnoth on jailbroken iPod touch
I just purchased it, and it doesn't work for me. The splash screen shows for a split second, then it crashes.

Re: Wesnoth on jailbroken iPod touch
playing it on a jailbroken 1st gen ipod touch (fw 3.0) without problems (despite being a little slugish)
perhaps you don't have enough memory? what mobile substrate addons f.e. winterboard do you have running?

Re: Wesnoth on jailbroken iPod touch
"permission denied" during launch sounds unusual, it sounds like the app wasn't properly signed. You can try deleting it, make sure you have at least 400mb free, reset device, install, reset.
Also I have heard that some cracked warez downloads do not work.....

I am sure that there are lots of warez that don't work
I jailbroke my iPod so that I could hack this cool un*x box I carry around in my pocket. Makes me think I'm living in the future or something.
Deleting the app and re-installing it via iTunes fixed it. I had initially installed it via the App Store app, which seemed to take much longer than it should have. I'm not sure if the problem had anything to do with being jainbroken. Looks good so far - I'm looking forward to seeing how much it's changed since the last time I played it, which was version 1.3. Hey, I have fond memories playing Kyle's Quest when I had a Palm III.
Cheers,
Dave
