Treating observers as one team

Post by tsr »

Ok, I just came up with this idea (mostly because I wanted to try the new 1.3.3 team labels on a game I was observing :P but hear me out the idea has merit anyhow).

How about creating a team (in regards to chatting and teamlabeling) for all the observers? We still can't allow them to put real labels on the map, for the same reason that was taken away from us :)

This would allow us (as observers) to both comment on a game with labels, etc without giving away information to the 'other' team/side.

And also it would allow us to chat away without disturbing the players, make plans for another game or just general chit-chat (that is sometimes not welcomed by the players)

The label thing doesn't matter to me, but the other one does. Nice idea. If it can be done it would be very nice for when players would like to keep their concentration etc and don't want obs to talk during the game.
