Sidhe: Mt. Stormkeep

Post by Oreb »

This is a map of the fabled Mt. Stormkeep home of the Sidhe

it is best played Imperial Champions, Sidhe Player 1, and 3 enemies allied

Gold:
Player 1: 1000
Player 2: 400
Player 3: 400
Player 4: 400

Trust me this is very hard to try and do, I played it and ended up losing... but... I had killed two leaders and the final guy had only 2 units, while i had my leader

Any Comments or Changes to the map recomended?

I would advise putting some hills on, but other than that... interesting. Much different from ordinary Wesnoth maps. ;)

Ok, I will, Any main places you want hills to be?

Other than that I will just throw them anywhere...

Hey how do you do that?

Hills near the castles, maybe; possibly even a path somewhere, but that might be going to far. The thing is, right now this map is Chokepoint City.
hey.

At last a map that is not symetrical! Great. Unbalanced but less boring than all the other symetrical maps. But don't try to play it with humans

I would advise making large areas of the mountains hills, but not all.

think valleys, with areas of mountains with lower hills running through the middle.

Damn, I'm bad at describing this... :P (hopefully you get it)

If you want to make the minimap look more like a mountain, I suggest rotate it 90 degrees to the right, then cut off the top-left corner with void.

Actually... They could... Because the can travel over the hills and there is always a hilly path to the fortress, but you may have to cross water :D

Maybe a few more hills should do it

[Edit]
The above post has the latest version

If you want to give your map a realistic look, I'd put hills around water, less at the borders.

Sorry for the Lateness, I did what Tux said, and did hills at the water edges, did some house changes, and redid the fortress

You are aware that means you can't recruit nearly as many people... as the sidhe.
