Are those eras or are those factions?

I figured an era was a particular grouping of factions and setting.

This is what I consider an era, thus my exclusion of many "eras". I think an era has to create new factions and group them together in some logical way. But technically an era can just be a single faction grouped with the default era for testing purposes.

Most notably these are also the two that have had the most people working on them, with more time and effort put it. I find that this often makes for a much better era than one guy making a basic faction*, and then sticking it onto default. In fact, these are also the two whose development process was closest to what I would guess that defaults was like, that and their creator (and any contributors) didn't give up half way.

*basic meaning only standing frames, bad art, and hardly any balancing.

I do to, but it's more of an alternative version (one which I enjoy more because the bandits are a separate faction, and because of the chaos faction) with some new units than a whole new era.
