I like this idea. It'll make it clear who's just quitting and who's quitting because they lost.

Well, not really. But I like the idea.

Shouldn't the surrender give all their gold to the surrendi? Not like he'd have much gold in the first place, but it still would be nice.

That's a neat idea, perhaps it should be an option you can select.

Why should the surrender give the surrende money? Why wouldn't he ship it off to his teammates? Why wouldn't it be split evenly between the remaining players? Any transfer of money has already been discussed - extensively. And been rejected. Surrender has the most chance of actually getting in-game if you don't clutter the suggestion up with add-ons like transfer of money.

Come now, you must know why.

Any transfer of money has already been discussed - extensively. And been rejected. Surrender has the most chance of actually getting in-game if you don't clutter the suggestion up with add-ons like transfer of money.

This makes sense, and I'm sure if this is put into the game it won't give any money to anyone, but this is different from transfering money. What's been discussed is the transfer of money for the sake of transfering money, whereas this would be
A) The capture of money
or
B) The giving of money because of defeat

Niether of these options could really be used strategically. But for the sake of a surrender option, I say don't bother with associating money with it because turin is right.
