My preferred faction are the undead. (I love the different kinds of walking dead)

Strongest faction on small maps or very samll maps: like Isar or Morituri:

Knalgans and Northerners

Strongest faction on large and huge maps: Drakes, Rebels

Most versataile faction: Loyalists (swiss army knife faction)

I think there are 2 main intangible:
1. day/night cycle
2. movetype and movement speed

So in smaller maps where combat will occur at night, chaotic factions have a advantage, and neutral factions are versatile enough to do quite well (knalgans especially, although rebels can do ok).
In larger maps, it's movement that matters. It gives you the ability to engage and dis-engage, to choose when (time of day) and where to fight.

Put in absolute terms, I think Knalgans, orcs, and undead dominate the smaller maps, while loyalist, drakes, and rebels have an advantage on bigger maps.

I think the most charismatic are the rebels, with knalgans a close second.

Knalgan's thief/gryphon combo in addition to their slow incredibly powerful heavy troops is a blast to play with.
Rebels are just all rounded and all about combined arms :D

Undead(Ghosts) also dominate big maps(especially ones with much mountains/water/snow etc.)

Of course, on 1.3 line, I believe starting time of day can be randomized.

I like undead... they are cool, with wonderful troops whith heavy weknesses and strengthes

I hate dwarves, they really have units which annoy me... gryphons and footpads... when I play undead... ;) and i hate their ulfis, they kill my adepts ;)

I like Dragons, because they have two differently aligned unit types!

I like rebels... good capable unit mix

I like northerneers, they are cheap

And Loyalists have very mobile units with very heavy support and cheap spearmen ;)

I like dwarves: they are tough and can trudge through any terrain type, and are supported by the outlaws which I like

I like undead: they play diffrently from the rest

I like drakes: I'm just no good for them

I hate northerners: Their units are weak they have to rely on numbers

I am nutural to rebles: they are kind of flimsy but they have nice capabilities

I like Loyalists: They are versitile, and they are the most intersting mirror match.
