Ok, I just downloaded 0.8.2 and I'm getting an error.

In Frozen_Lands.cfg there is this line

	[event]
	name=start
		{START_A_SCENE 37 21 34 20 31 18}
In utils.cfg there is this line

Code: Select all

#define START_A_SCENE EDGE_X EDGE_Y SHIP_X SHIP_Y KEEP_X KEEP_Y SCENNUM
I count 7 arguments in the macro def and 6 arguments in the scenario. What should the 7th be?

To fix it, add a 6 as the last argument... its odd, my version of the campaign was already fixed.

There is a similar error in Fire_Island.cfg also. What value should SCENNUM take there?

Please do. Some folks even seem to re-release with a new version number to fix a single typo. No need to get quite that extreme, but bugs stopping the campaign from starting definitely warrant a re-release, no matter how minor.

I did too when I uploaded 2.9.2, although it took two tries for the version number to show the change.

Just confirming that version 0.8.4 of this campaign works fine with wesnoth-0.9.3. However, variable names like "started?" will now give errors, meaning that saved games are not really usable (they will reset the player to the starting position just outside Elensefar).

I've played through this campaign, and it is really good.
There are a few cosmetical problems:

1. some thugs are without name. Could be a feature, or some typo :)

2. in the end scene the humans and elves attack the orcs. It
made the last scenario extra easy :) I don't mind it though.

3. At the very end i got a scenario not found bug (after the epilogue). sea_voyage_fake4

4. the guy called 'black the red' is damn weak and won't advance.

5. Madru is level 2 but advances to another level 2 creature

Great campaign fun and I like the way it works.
your leader does not appear on the map, though you can see him on the mini map.
Black the red is WAY to weak.


hopefully I'll find a simialr thing for the loyalists. well, probably not, but hey , I can still hope cant I?
Oh no look out its a ray gun.
You should move to avoid the rays
the rays are coming out of the gun
if you are hit by the rays
you will be shot by the rays
the rays are fast so you should be fast to
can you win against the fast rays from the gun?

Huh? Black the red does indeed advance, to a Shadow Lord... or does he not in your version?

I'll fix the thing with Madru's level '3' being a level 2.
