Don't try to fight. Recruit 1 castle of sacrificial gryphons or horsemen (they need to be fast units) and send Konrad straight towards the cave entrance. Try to not engage the enemy until Konrad is near the top of the map, then send most of your gryphons to the top of the map to block the yellow and blue forces. The green forces will never touch you.

It used to be you could fight all 3 leaders, but they have been given a ton of gold so you can't fight them in 18 turns. Your only option is to run.

Hopefully this will change some time because it's pretty much a guaranteed win with no strategy once you learn how to do it.

Was this changed in 9.x? I used to have fun leveling a dozen units on this level by taking all on three leaders. I'd come out broke, but the next level doesn't need money anyway.

ya its pretty much a blitz to the top of the map. and i agree all you need is a bunch of fast expendable units to hold off the enemy so that you can get to the cave.

I don't remember when it was changed. In the early 0.8.x's

Oh yeah, don't run to the doors in the middle, the real enterance is in the NE corner of the map. (If somebody said that then i didn't notice, sorry  )

it's called "trial and error". You win by lossing, in a sense.

Okay, first of all, its frequently, not frequiently. Second, I think losing lvl. 3 units is a "dire circumstance"

Woah, boys.

Not being able to win this level without a priori knowledge is a flaw in the level design. You could create a new version and post it. Maybe it will be added. You could randomize which door is correct.
