I don't know how usable (or legal) this is, but I made a scaled down and pixelated version of Munch's Scream as a possible wail image. In all hosetly I did it more for fun though

That's hilarious. At the very least, it's a great placeholder image, even if it doesn't quite fit with the Wesnoth theme of the other images.

I was thinking more of a ghostly banshee wailing, though it is hard to draw sound.
