Danish, active?, maintainer?

Post by Kirdan »

Hi,

I've noticed s number of errors and less than ideal translations in the Danish version. But who is the maintainer and is it active?

Is it "skovbaer" or is it "freaken"? ... I've emailed with freaken (Mathias Bundgaard Svensson) who is listed as maintainer on the Wiki page and he says that he has announced him self inactive and that he doesn't mind others taking over maintenance.
If no one else is working on the Danish translation, I would set of a local CVS with the relevante files to get it improved.

The Danish translation has indeed been inactive a while. It is great to see someone picking it up again. *smile* Though I fail to really see the point of setting up your own cvs.

Do not hesitate to ask me if you have any questions about how to translate under gettext or any other questions.

To let more danes contribute. (and avoid the cumbersome email-procedure described in the wiki). I already have a few friends who are willing to help. I don't suppose we'll get write access to wesnoth-cvs.
