Re: Introduce yourself here!
I think that you can move a save file from iOS to your PC using iCloud. I've never used iCloud, so I can't say much about it, but according to this Wesnoth for iOS release announcement it sounds like it is possible.Russandol wrote: ↑February 17th, 2025, 8:27 pm It’s not possible to see all the information I need on the iPhone version, so I’d like to be able to move my game to the PC. But even installing on PC is a bit complicated, and after that I’m not sure if I’ll be able to move a data file there from my phone so I can resume the game. Any thoughts or advice on this?
Note that you will want to install Wesnoth version 1.14 on your PC since that is the version used on iOS.
Re: Introduce yourself here!
If you have steam, it's quite easy. Get Wesnoth -> https://store.steampowered.com/app/5993 ... r_Wesnoth/
There are more steps afterwards, because you want to get Wesnoth 1.14, but don't worry.
After having installed the game, rightclick on it in your library -> properties -> Betas. And then change 'Beta Participitation' from 'None' to '1.14.x Old old stable'.
Steam will then install 1.14 instead of the current stable version. Gl & hf

I'm not usually a fan of turn based games but the upgradable units got me to enjoy the game

Joe, here!
Ima noob.
I absolutely love turn-based, so that's why I'm here. Gimme a sec (or a few thousand) to learn the game.
But there's a darker, more sinister reason why I am here... I absolutely love necromancy! So I am also here to explore the necromantic side of the game-play here. (I haven't figured out how to find that stuff yet, but I will)
Anyone out there trying to make persistent world game-play possible with this game? Just putting feelers out.
See you in the game!

Hello,
I have played this game in Wesnoth ~100 years ago... more or less, and I continue playing.
Yes, you say that I am old but, ehy, an old whisky means that I am young... no?
See you around then!
