Love the portrait! That horse looks as deadly as the warrior on top 8)

I enjoyed doing the pose and the hair, although I am afraid some places in the art lack coherence and focus, especially the top left corner. Although the problem doesn't seem as prominent when I flip the canvas.

Is the distorted face intentional?

I doubt it can be unintentional on my part unless my stylus is haunted
Do you mean the monstrous face in the shade? Yes

The perspective doesn't seem right, with the grey face looking to the side and the shadow face looking straight at the camera. So I couldn't tell if the shadow face was supposed to be the other side of the head or a different creature hiding in the shadow. I wasn't sure whether you did that on purpose for effect or messed up by accident.

Yeah, it just took me some time to understand you.
It's semi-intentional. I preferred to give the red eye an "ideal" ball-like shape to make it look more like insect/arachnid eye but I wasn't thinking much about perspective. Right now the flat dot makes it seem like she is staring directly at the viewer. Trying to give it some perspective doesn't really does it for me and it starts to look (even more) wrong. It's also possible that my eyes are tired right now and it's getting hard to judge. Generally this portrait took a lot of effort and I still have doubts on some elements.

Oh, the rest of it is pretty amazing, especially how that upside-down spider is posed and how the dress falls. Yeah, the head tripped me up, but it still works as a special effect..

The flat dot isn't the problem for me it's more the shape and profile of the left side of the face as well as the flow of the shadow. It looks like a strong profile turned very far to the side. The other eye shouldn't be visible at all from that angle, so it reads like a second face. Kinda like this:

Oh I see where this is coming from. The entire head is actually supposed to be rotated 3/4 to the viewer but the lighting and exaggerated facial features make the lit part look as if it's a profile view. With the 3/4 view both eyes should absolutely be visible with no problem.
