Change jinns trait from "elemental" to "jinn" "djinn" or "genie"

We duplicate the same trait in three terms: undead/mechanical/elemental

I hardly see any value in doing this a 4th time.

I understand the problem and also thought about this aspect. I would still prefer that our users not be misled by confusing jinns with elementals.

Why does this matter?

In other games djinn are explicitly classified as elementals.

Djinn is fairly generic, like fae, troll, or yokai. And many of them are elemental spirits, specifically the ones in Wenoth.

You know, elemental is rather just animated part of unliving nature. Djinn is reasonable creature.

That's a good point, should there be some variation between the three?

That's a good point, should there be some variation between the three?
Given the balance implications being major (affecting most of mainline and a significant number of UMC using the traits), I doubt refactoring of existing traits should be executed.

I didn't seen any fire guardians or mudcrawlers that would have reason. The same when it goes to elementals from add-ons.
