Is anyone else working on a Latin translation still? I just started in on the Son of the Black Eye campaign and I don't want to be redundant.

Where are you studying classics? Latin or Greek? Any particular author a favorite yet?

Oberlin College, Latin, and Livy or Tacitus (can't decide, darn it.) respectively.

just to tell you, i'm studying classics also. Actually, it seems there may be a few of us lurking around here

Well, i'm on Valencia, Spain, and, although i'm not clearly decided - first year only -, i kind of prefer Latin. I haven't touched Tacitus nor Livy, but i don't think they will ever be as good as Virgilius

On a side note, mpolo, keep up the good job!! And good luck, Elanda, i'm sure you'll do a veery good translation.

I haven't started on SotBE yet, so that would be an ideal spot for you to jump in. Also, let me know about all my grammatical blunders... (I know I used "oportet" with Dative and Infinitive rather than Accusative a couple of times -- I just have to hunt them down.)

Discipulus quoque (et nunc magister!) linguae Latinae sum. Laborabo diligenter sub imperio mpolonis Wesnothis in linguam Latinam referendae causa. Quid vis ut faciam?

Do you know how to do translations for user campaigns? I'd like to render the South Guard into flowing dactyls, but I can't figure out how to set up a translation for it...

Thanks!

well, I know there is a manual here: http://ydirson.free.fr/soft/wesnoth/pokit/pokit-README

I haven't set it up for any of my campaigns, though, so I don't know how useful it is.
