How to fix my gold hack.

Alright, I'll just tell you how to fix it.

Assign a variable for the amount of gold the player has. Whenever something is bought, initiate a loop to check if the gold value went down. If it doesn't, then exit the game. If it does let the game continue.

Of course, this only fixes if the gold value is frozen, and not a gold hack which adds more gold.

This is the only bad side in the KISS thinking when making Wesnoth... hacking and distributing them is easy..

Couldn't someone just ban automatically people who do this kind of things?

However, it is not fun to cheat in. I should know, I've had fun cheating in almost every other game I've played.

Playing in debug mode, you can create a pink flying elefant on your client if you like to. It seems just a bit unlikely that a mp game will not get out of sync.

Actully his so called "kick ass cheat hack" issnt..... even in SP the AI just ends up getting Infine gold as well.... So in reality it's absolutly useless.....

Not to mention it's reaaaalllly usefull if you get kicked out of a game fro trying it (note I havvant tried that)

This is a piece of crap I threw together. It only freezes the gold value on your computer, so yes, the CPU will get infinite gold too. Online it works though, although SOMETIMES it goes out of sync.

I could easily fix it if you want me to though, by just making it add gold instead of freezing gold.

Btw, Don't call me a script kiddy if you can't do [censored] for yourself.

It will go out of sync every time you try to actually buy more than you have... if you put it on, then never actually use it to buy something you couldn't have normally, it will not go OOS.

Oddly enough, sometimes there is no problem at all ( I ask the other players). I was thinking adding more gold may fix the problem.
