The darker side of Humanity

Post by AkitoScorpio »

Okay well this issnt really anything new.... I'm just proposeing a MP faction that effectivly is just a hodge podge of Evil Human units......

As it stands, The human faction aviable in Single play is more or less Lawfull..... all the Evil Humans are working for the Dwarfs it seams or are running around with a bunch of there recently killed Kinsmen.....

I'm aware that I could just pay Great war and get the same effect but that's not really what i'm getting at.......

The list of units i'm thinking of are allready in game or at the worst there might have to get modded into chaotic alighments or something or have there tree altered for the faction.

Units this faction would have tha are allready implimented
Footpad/Outlaw
Poacher/Trapper
Thief/Rogue/Assassin
Thug/Bandit
Dark Adept/Necromancer/Lich

Units that would have to have altered .CFG's for chaotic aligment
Traitor Spearman/Traitor Swordsman/Death Knight(existing)
/Traitor Pikeman/Traitor Halbardier
/Traitor Javelineer

Units by other people

Sangel: Mercanary/enforcer/warlord
EP: Nameless Rider

Options For Faction leaders.
Necromancer
Traitor Swordsman
Trapper
Outlaw Princess (just for [censored] and giggles)

Now your probbly wondering why i'm sugesting this when it's really kinda of redundent right? Well the idea is that While I do enjoy this game a lot my only real outlit for my evil side is Undead (which I get crap for playing for it's cheapness) or Orcs, which In my opinion are not a satasfiing race.... I want to play some humans that while are unredeamible evil and are little more than a bunch of traitors with out belonging to a noble rebellion, like a typical outlaw gang or a pack or traitiors solders lead by a necromancer or a outcast princess into battle.

So it might be redundent but it leaves an option open for those out there wanting to explore the darkerside of the human race.

This sounds like it would make an awesome campaign.
You should throw in the Black Mage from "Liberty", if you can.
But I don't know if this would make sense as a faction for multiplayer.

Well the only diffrence in the changed units is names... in once case the tree.... and Maybe later down the road if someone wants to recolor a few sprites.... look.

I'm racking my head s to a decent scout for them though.

Edit: Oh and ther aligments.... duh.

If you're looking for evil infantry, there's always the Mercenary-Enforcer set which I made a few months back.

I like those evil humans as a generic henchman-type unit. You know, when the leader says, "Get them!" these guys spring into action and get killed.

Schoolwork finally caught up with me, and I kind of burnt out. Thanks - the avatar is my take on a "Royal Lancer".

I see you've been busy in my absence - very busy. Congrats on all the fantastic new artwork!

Seams Resonible enough that a Force of basicly Traitors, Anarchists, Bandits, and dark mages would hire Mercs to fill in the ranks.

Now what i'm racking my mind over is what a good Scout unit would be for these guys.... i'm tempted to say Gryphon rider but there kinda powerfull.

The Footpad is a surprisingly good scout, but you may wish to create some kind of mounted bandit or somesuch for geniune scouting power.

Yeah thats really why it's there now.... If it really comes to brass tacks I could just Make a traitor version of the cavary unit or something.

It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.

It would be something like this, I think:

No idea about the name
level 1
18 gold
chaotic
36 HP
8 moves, mounted except:
20% vs impact, 0% vs. blade, 50% def on villages.
sword(blade)
7-2 melee

Levels into "Still no idea"
level 2
52 HP
9-3 melee

Levels into "Why have they no names?"
level 3
68 HP
13-3 melee
