Dwarves have "healthy" and elves have "dexterous". Should the orcs have one for themselves? Purely for flavour.
Calling a spear a spoon and then saying "our spoons are different, WINR," is kind of unsatisfying, isn't it?

Re: [mainline] Orcs race trait
Such a change wouldn't be "purely for flavor"- it would affect multiplayer balance. (And if it was "purely for flavor", i.e. no gameplay effect, then it would be rather pointless and potentially confusing, IMO.)
Although, goblins have unique traits such as "dim" and "weak", you know.

Oh, come on. It would be a trait limited to orcs without affecting goblins or trolls. We just have to make sure its not stronger than any of existing traits and all be good.Captain_Wrathbow wrote:Such a change wouldn't be "purely for flavor"- it would affect multiplayer balance. Yes, I had the opportunity to notice.Captain_Wrathbow wrote: Although, goblins have unique traits such as "dim" and "weak", you know.

Re: [mainline] Orcs race trait
Since dwarfs have hp regen trait and +hp and +melee damage ones already excist what trait would you suggest? Only thing I can think of is some sort of +% damage during night. It should be something small. Tought Im not sure if this is a good idea.

Actually I've been thinknig for a few days about this before posting a thread. I believe it should be a quality found more or less in all orcs but still be rare enought to be considered a personal trait. I was thinking about how their disregard for life and desire for power and respect amongst their bretheren would help manifest stronger in some individuals. It should alter the damage done by a unit but still has to be something different than "strong" trait.
Something like...
Reckless +1 damage, both meele and ranged, and -5% hp.

Re: [mainline] Orcs race trait
It should be "smelly". Automatically send every adjacent unit one hex away.
Re: [mainline] Orcs race trait
Nope, sorry. MP faction balance is not achieved by making all factions clones of each other. The fact that each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages and that you must learn how to use them effectively is part of the gameplay.
