The win percentage of the top ladder players is around 80%:

For one top player: what is the percentage of matches against top player ?

For one top player: what is the percentage of matches against average player ?

For all the players: what is the percentage of number of luck complaints / all his match?

There are times when I think an intelligent conversation is possible on this topic in Wesnoth's forums. More like fleeting moments, really. Thanks for reminding me of the unfortunate reality.

Does anyone from the luck-whiner camp honestly have something new to add, other than another "me too"? Not likely.

To the original poster: I suggest you post Lua-related questions in the Lua forum. This (creating a luck-whining thread in the user forum) is not a great way to ask a lua question. And as you surmised, it's been debated to death and back more times than I can count. In my humble opinion, we really don't need more threads on this.
