Exceeded word limit once more. Man, this is boring... :annoyed:

I have made a new timeline (which would be completed soon):

This timeline fits the pieces all together, successfully merging the campaigns Library of Kratemaqht and A Song of Fire.
Spoiler:
I have made changes to the map, which would be uploaded later.

Shirzo, isn't like other mages, so, he would to be able keep himself under control. Jahin won't be fighting Shirzo as Shirzo's ultimate form appears just momentarily before being taken back to the future.
ASoF's last enemy was an ages-old, demigod-like, Celestial lord, and he still got literally owned by Svarballi... See, Svarballi is of a much higher tier than most beings; even locked in the gem he could warp people's mind with his influence, so what to say of people who have 'absorbed' him within themselves?
The final campaign of the trilogy won't be started until TLB and it's sequel would be completed. This could take at least three years, as I'm becoming increasingly busy nowadays...
No problem, I'm young, so I have plenty of time :-P
Jahin also manages to befriend a wolf, which he names Balto (showing my respect to the Alaskan legend).
I like the wolf! :-D But I suppose it will be a different, maybe stronger kind of wolf that those that commonly appear? Because common wolves, or even Direwolves, could be a burden if they must be kept alive all the time.
When I first wrote the draft for the entire plot of TLB, everything was messed up and disorganized. The campaign was only 30 scenarios long. The surrendering of the vampires was included in the first ever plot. (Then again, in the first plot, there were dark elves instead of vampires). So, I've included this to make a part of the first plot still remain in the campaign.
Also, making the vampires surrender will help the plot go on; it would be tiresome to keep fighting the same old enemies over and over again, without ever decisively settling scores :-)

Actually Shirzo has not absorbed the soulstone of Svarballi. He has made that into a sword for himself with the stone at the hilt. Later in his ultimate form, stone is at the heart of his armor.

Yes, Plan to start him off as a Great Wolf, which will advance to a dire wolf.
Also, making the vampires surrender will help the plot go on; it would be tiresome to keep fighting the same old enemies over and over again, without ever decisively settling scores
The vampires have been significantly weakened, they won't be able to retaliate. Their capital was led waste by the drakes (only a third survived). Most of their numbers fled, and they have made peace on the condition that they will never leave the island. So, they are a no threat. Besides, Lord Morfin will place some lookout posts to watch over the island for any ship movements... So, they pose no threat. :D

You've seen the timeline; the sky soul is in fact the ruby of fire, which Jevyan takes with him from the Sun's Cradle, only fr it to be taken by Lich Lord Lenvan.
High over valleys in the red levelling rays -
In din of crowded streets, going among the years, the faces,
May I still meet my memory in so lonely a place
Between the streams and the red clouds, hearing the curlews, Hearing the horizons endure.

But how? Considering Library of Kratemaqht, the Ruby came from the head of the dragon Akrinas; and, after the end of part III of ASoF, the Sky Soul

will remain lost for a while. I had an idea about having a master of magic split the Sky Soul into two gems, one countaining only the soul of Svarballi, and the other containing the souls of the 3 Fire dragons; this one would be the Ruby of Fire. However, it still would not match very well the Ruby in LoK...
That idea would do well. Perhaps I can add a detail in the timeline about a dark wizard (I won't mention his name, as I have none for him) who uses the soul of 3 fire dragons and binds them into another dragon..aka...Arkinas. That would do well...

I know leave the part of Svarballi's soul to me. I shall use that to re-ignite the dragonheart sword. Just imagine Jahin facing Mor-Inal in an earth-shattering battle with the dragonheart in his hand...

And as per the requests of Kanzil, I have posted the completed (still need some tweaks which I will look into later) timeline on the wiki.
Those who are interested at seeing the work-in-progress.

Click this:---> http://wiki.wesnoth.org/Timeline_of_Pre-Wesnoth

And, the completed plot for Episode 3:-
Spoiler:
Notes:-
  • There will be a narrator change in this episode. The original narrator is Ashhab's great grandson. The later parts of this episode will be told by Jahin himself as the original narrator reads Jahin's Journal
  • There will be a total of 23 playable scenarios in this episode. There might about 7 cutscenes.
As, for Episode 4. I plan to make to include bonus scenarios. Players will have options to whether play them or not. Bonus levels will harder and almost impossible, but will emphasize the story deeper. Also Ariana will be the playable leader in the first few scenarios. Jalin is also planned to be leader unit in some scenarios. This episode will feature Jahin mostly in the command of New Genesis, but he will later take his army to Mor-Inal's later in the finale.

That was _exactly_ what I thought, maybe with the difference tha Arkinas would be an artificially created dragon to serve as a guardian for the gem with the 3 dragons. If everyoneis ok with this idea, I could make this 'splicing' of the souls one of the themes in the ASoF sequel (man, I really need to create a name for it :-P )

Using extra leaders would be interesting, it would give some variety to the story. But, maybe it would be better not to make them too hard, or the player will simply avoid them all. They could be like the Cliffs of Thoria from HttT: challenging, seemingly too hard at first sight, but nothing that a good strategy doesn't do. :-)

Thanks :D ! I will edit your version of the timeline, Knightmare, till it fits- by the way, Argea was my provisional name for Terra's Gem (not a name I like) though I rather like your use of it. By the way, make sure it is mentioned Svarballi was imbued with the power of one of the guardians(or the like), else he'll be too powerful - after all the ruby is used to fight Argan and it is hinted that it might be possible to defeat Uria herself with the ruby in IftU/AtS - Svarballi can't be too OP, and we can't stray too far from (semi) canon. I love the storyline - no criticism there :D . Fixed most of the problems with the timeline - please don't make too many major edits( or tell me if you need to change it to fit your storylines). Feel free to change it, revansurik. I've made some changes regarding your bit.

I changed the name of my continent to Arkenova. The windsong gave the previous name.

I might as well do a rough sketch of the world of Irdya...(the parts which we have mapped or used in the timeline...)

Sorry in case you might feel I meddle with your story, but am I the only one to think that this makes an easy solution for the problem of getting rid of Shirzo? The moment the Soulstone is moved to his chest, Svarballi slowly takes over his mind. The Sky Dragon obviously won't like a lich trying to abuse his power for evil purposes, so why shouldn't he blast him for fun? This could be implemented as follows:

1. When Shirzo transforms, have him boast about the power he absorbs from the Soulstone.
2. After some rounds, the glow of the gem increases (a simple halo) and Shirzo's stats increase. Some comment of one of the heroes that at the latest by now, he is invincible.
3. Another few round later: A bright flash of the screen, a quake, and then...
(Shirzo's sprite glowing red as if taking damage, Svarballi is just a voice out of the void)
Shirzo: "What happens to me?"
Svarballi: "You fool! Nobody rests unpunished who provokes my anger."
Svarballi: "Instead of absorbing my power, you didn't notice that I absorbed your body. I am not to be played with by a pile of bones."
(Shirzo fires his ranged attack on no one in particular, and his minions are destroyed)
Svarballi: "I sense your horror... if you were a human, I would take over your mind, but a lich isn't worth to host my soul. Feel my wrath!"
(another flash, but this time Shirzo is no more, only the Soulstone remaining there, fiercely glowing)

This would eliminate the problem that the future Jahin, if he was able to travel in time, could (somewhat copying Shirzo's plan of killing him in the past) prevent the attempt to raise the third sun, thereby getting rid of Shirzo.

I hope I was able to help by presenting an alternative option

I'm not TLB's author, but I liked it; as I had said before, anyone who tries to absorb Svarballi's power will end up being consumed by him instead, but a lich's skeletal body would be unable to sustain his power.

This would eliminate the problem that the future Jahin, if he was able to travel in time, could (somewhat copying Shirzo's plan of killing him in the past) prevent the attempt to raise the third sun, thereby getting rid of Shirzo.
I hadn't thought of this... Indeed, if Jahin could travel back in time, why didn't he attempt to prevent the third sun?

I like the idea suggested by aquileia, and I shall exploit it  (I have to take into account that there are two Sky Souls co-existing in Irdya, so I have to come up something to end this problem in TLB-4 or HoI)

Jahin can't time travel, I think. Wasn't it a one-off occurrence? Or, if not, it probably should be.

Time travel would just mess it up, if Jahin, with the help of a mysterious enchantress (revansurik might have guessed who by now), could find Shirzo's secret of time travel, then they could stop the Fall even before it began....This would be undesirable. So, I have eliminated this idea. I have something better plan instead.

As for TLB, I have finalized the plot and have already begun development of episode 3 - the finale. Thank you all for your time, suggestions and guidance. Have a nice day... :D

I have finally written the fixed plot for episode 3. Have a read at it:
Spoiler:
Some things to think about:
  • On either route, Jahin rescues a mage, Sreeyoshee on his journey.
A new character. She's not a love interest, but will be a person whom Jahin regards as the elder sister he never had. Based on a friend of mine.
  • Jahin uses the immortality potion to revive him, turning Fairuz into an immortal superhuman in the process.
I couldn't let Jahin's best friend die. Besides, he is needed for Hero of Irdya.
  • Only Fairuz, Ashhab, Jalin, Shifty, Galec, Brandir and Sadia survive. Morin also survive but retreats due to heavy injuries. With the help of the Merfolk, they succeed in closing the portal. They also find a shard of the Sky Soul Gem (the rest of the Gem had been disintegrated by the sheer energy of the explosion) and Ashhab decides to take it back to Sreeyoshee.
Much better than killing off the majority of the main cast.
  • Sreeyoshee researches the Gem and deems that they it can be used to forge a magical weapon, but she adds that the evil within the Gem needs to be diluted somehow. So, the help of the dwarven rune crafters, and Sadia and Ashhab, a new magical sword is forged. Sreeyoshee and the dwarves enchant the sword with runes of the Light and silence the evil within the Gem for good. Jahin deems it the Sword of New Genesis and welds it.
Being a white mage, she is well aware of the evil essence within the Gem, so with the help of Dwarven runecraft, she uses her divine magic to contain the evil and prevent it from corrupting Jahin, although Jahin does feel a little agressive when he welds the sword.
  • The Chaos Empire has sailed westwards, away from Arkenova (The reason will be revealed in the campaign sequel - Involves Maat'Kare).
This is one of the main story plots for Hero of Irdya, so I shall reveal no further information.
  • Jalin and the rest arrive at New Genesis during the Winter, and a vast celebration is held to celebrate their victory. At the festival, Faria arrives suddenly, to everyone's astonishment. Faria at first apologies to Sadia and Jahin, and then casts a spell that turns them into undead. Jahin and the rest flee from the attacking soldiers. Outside the city, Jahin and the others meet Sreeyoshee who tells them that they need to confront Faria and force her to turn them back. They sneak into the city (Ashhab gains the ability to raise skeletons), and confront Faria, but Mor-Inal appears and tells them that the only to cure them is to kill Faria. Jahin is unwilling and he damaged by Morin. Faria regains her consciousness and takes Jahin's concealed dagger and stabs herself, breaking the spell. Morin goes away. Jahin holds a dying Faria in his arms. Faria hands Jahin a note and they both share a kiss (A romantic farewell, that will incite Jahin's lust for vengeance). Jahin opens the note and finds the location of Mor-Inal's base and swears to finish him, once and for all. Faria is cremated and her ashes are left at the former location her house.
This will make Jahin hate Mor-Inal even more. Allowing the Sky Soul shard an advantage to corrupt him.
  • New Genesis is ruled jointly by Affan, Ashhab and the married couple Shifti and Jalin.
Being a renowned hero, Jalin deserves a beautiful wife. (You're welcome Kanzil) Jalin will be a supporting character in the sequel.
