You would need soldier in full plate, with bigger sword, and definitely with helmet (still showing face).
Though in my opinion, transition would still be a bit rapid.(Your lev3 looks more like lev4 to me...)

I don't know... It seems like the guy just gets HUMONGOUS. I mean, I can see him getting a ton of armor, but he seems almost overwhelmed with it. I agree with Shinobody on the current highest level looking like a Lv. 4, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it can't have a full helmet. Though, it seems, that your sprite is facing the wrong way. It should be facing the same way as the Lv. 1, not at the player.

I know that he have "big hands", but it's a human with a big armor, with a lot of resistence and a bit of movement points.
