Grunt-rush strategies can be balanced off by increasing the price of cheap L0 or L1 units. In general, a unit that is twice as expensive should be -a bit more than twice- as powerful. Why? Because the fact remains that two units can always occupy more ground than one, act as ZOA blockers over a far wider area, and so on.

For example:

elvish grunt cost x
elvish boss cost 2x

if two grunts can just about take on one boss, then the grunt price should be x + c, where c is to compensate for all the bonuses that you get for having two units instead of just one - more choice of attack options, more village occupying potential, more zone coverage, more search coverage, etc.

Bats used carefully (i.e. attack at night when they're off hills/mountains) should be able to beat ulfserkers.
4-4 & 40 LP 30% hits (eg grasland) VS 5-2 16 LP 50%

VERY UNLIKELY

You forgot Drain completely. The bats get average 2.8 HP each round.

So, 4-4=16 * 50% =8 -2.8 drained =5.2 avg dam for 'serkers
5-2=10 * 70% =7 avg dam for bats

bat hp=16
serker HP ~= 35
bat down in 4 rounds and serker in 5; bat costs 13 to serker's 18, so advantage to Undead.
It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.

Those tables are incomprehensible to me, you never get decimals in an attack (certainly not THREE), and you're the one bullshitting here IMO.

I trust Elvish Pillager more until you post something more understandable than a list of " Bat Uff 3-decimal number ".

Oh, and the spelling is Ulfzerker. gahh. Annoying.

your tables make no sense at all. Why are there 2 numbers at every attack? What is the difference between the 2 tables?
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the drug store, but that's just peanuts to space.

Yeah I don't understand them either.

Also you're ignoring blood bats. You can afford to waste a few normal bats because the one that does succeed will level and blood bats really lay waste to ulfzerkers.
