funny chainmail pattern, it trashed part of the outline on the right arm, meanwhile the remaining part has a stray fragment comming outside
also - either you exaggerated on the helmet plate shadows or his armorsmith was a total idiot to bash that thick plates together like that..actually the shadows on the helmet are way inconsistent with the remaining shadings lightsource

I had some misgivings about the earlier orc, I feel better about this one.

However the sword looks a bit bent given to a slight perspective issue. This could be fixed by rotating his wrist and hand a bit.

The fur seems way more cartoony both in colour and shading than the rest of the orc, it looks very weird.

now that you mentionned it..am i looking at my screen in a strange way or is that pink?

I didn't spend much time on the fur, it could stand to have a little more attention. It may also be too pink, I can't tell. I've found that almost every time I color-pick from a photograph of something like skin or hair, I get some shade of red, so I just went with desaturated red.

This is how I'm going to keep the tribes differentiated, I wonder how convincing it is. Keep in mind that some of these images are not recent, I'd replace many of of them if I had more time (in other words, I'm not asking about the quality). I want to get three for each tribe, so two more, but I'd like to see if the theme is working first because fixing it after the fact isn't as good.

It is a bit too pink, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. (You know what they say: Real Orcs Wear Pink )

I really like it. I can tell a stark difference between each one, except for one of them.

The second one in the third tribe (with the skull banner) needs some changes. His facial expressions make him look more like the first tribe. I would scale his fierceness up some. Also, the banner looks unshaded (particularly the skulls).

As usual, your artwork is great and I'm amazed at the speed which you churn out these portraits!

Thanks. I see what you mean about the facial expression. I've made him angrier, but I don't want him to look too rabid. He is supposed to be at least somewhat intelligent.

I like the armor shading you did on part of it and on 1c
and lookie there, the new ones fur isnt pink, tried shades of brown or orange this time? (i meant to say it had a good effect)

They do, and I noticed that both of them have flawless teeth compared to the rest of the orcs.

I'm not sure what you mean about the teeth, the mainline orcs don't seem to have ruined teeth either. But I redrew his mouth.

And I think I can see a perspective issue with his breastplate.
